My name is Paul Youngson, I have undertaken a quest to trade a piece of old rope for something better. I will then trade that for something better, and so on, for 18 months. At the end of 18 months I will auction my final item and give all of the proceeds to a charity that supports grown-ups with congenital heart disorders (GUCH). Please follow the ups and downs of this adventure using this blog.

I currently have two trades going at the same time a signed photo of England football legend Peter Beardsley and a Wayne Rooney match shirt. If you have anything that you would like to trade then please email me through my profile or leave a comment on today's post.

Until Trading Ceases

I began with a piece of old rope which I traded with Angela for 18 pairs of craft scissors

The scissors went to Tim in Australia in exchange for a Sydney Olympic Stewards tee-shirt

The shirt was swapped for a signed photo of Peter Beardsley with Dave

I wrote to Liverpool FC and they gave me a unique Liverpool shirt made for Xavi Alonso

The Liverpool FC shirt was traded with David for a Wayne Rooney match shirt
