The quest for Wayne Rooney's signature is not going too well. If I had just won the Premiership and took part in a an FA Cup final then I would probably want to go on holiday so its understandable.

My name is Paul Youngson, I have undertaken a quest to trade a piece of old rope for something better. I will then trade that for something better, and so on, for 18 months. At the end of 18 months I will auction my final item and give all of the proceeds to a charity that supports grown-ups with congenital heart disorders (GUCH). Please follow the ups and downs of this adventure using this blog.

I wrote to Liverpool FC and they gave me a unique Liverpool shirt made for Xavi Alonso
The Liverpool FC shirt was traded with David for a Wayne Rooney match shirt
